Kidron Valley
the Valley of Kings
In the Old Testament, we see King David cross through the Kidron Valley while fleeing from his son Absalom (2 Samuel 15). This valley is also where King Asa burned the idols in the kingdom of Israel during his reign (1 Kings 15:9-13).
In the New Testament, Jesus crosses through this valley to pray before his betrayal and arrest (John 18).
