Saul and Jonathan were killed in battle near here. Our tour will continue south past Jericho to the site of Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We will end our day by checking into the Hod Dead Sea hotel with enough time to enjoy the hotel spa and swim in the medicinal waters of the Dead Sea. This salt lake is below sea level and holds the title of Earth’s lowest elevation on land.
